About the desk

eCoffices is an independent editorial guide for the technical office: maintenance managers and heads of technical departments who need to draw up a shortlist of maintenance software. We focus on teams of 5 to 50 technicians in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Every page follows the same pattern. We state the situation, name a winner, show the scorecard and explain the verdict in plain language. Where a tool is described, we rely on facts the vendor publishes itself and we show when a page was last checked.

Rankings change when products, prices and customer reviews change. That is why every article carries an updated date, and why we would rather revise a ranking than defend an old one.

How we rank

We start from the buyer's situation: team size, sector, budget and the systems already in use. We then compare tools on fit for that situation, ease of use for technicians, support, price clarity and implementation effort. A ranking is a recommendation for a defined situation, not a verdict on every team.

What we do not do

We do not accept payment for rank positions. We do not copy vendor marketing. We do not claim a tool is best for everyone.
